About me
Shelley has been with the USGS for 26 years as a Hydrologic Technician who is currently focused on groundwater and water quality work. She is also the Collateral Duty Safety Program Coordinator for the Central Midwest Water Science Center and has been involved with safety since starting with the USGS. Traffic control is a necessary aspect of field work in the USGS which has led Shelley to assist with traffic control set ups in the field and the creation of traffic control plans for well over half of her career. Traffic control is an aspect of safety that has caught her interest, and she enjoys sharing what she knows with her fellow USGS employees.
